OTC’s Youth Theatre Summer Camp provides your child with the chance to shine and become the performer of their dreams. Throughout the camp we will learn, rehearse, create props, costumes and finally perform a short musical that will showcase the talented individuals in our program. Theatre is a great way to increase your child’s creativity, team work skills, body awareness and give them the confidence to express themselves. Join us for a week of fun, learning and collaboration.

This 5 day acting intensive allows young people to get creative and learn new skills. Guided by theatre professionals, participants will not only create scenes, enhance their vocal ability and develop their own talent, but experience the unique energy of an acting ensemble. Combining elements of classical, contemporary and musical theatre, the work you develop during the week will culminate in a final performance, open to friends and family. Join us for this fun filled week - we can't wait to see you shine!

Meet OTC's Lead Teacher and Coordinator!
Joanna is a professional actress who has worked in theatre, television and film in the UK and the Netherlands. When not on stage herself, she loves to share her knowledge and training with young people, working in schools and with individuals as a workshop leader and coach, teaching theatre skills, Shakespeare and storytelling. She’s constantly inspired by the young people she works with, encouraging them to find their own voice, and delights in watching their confidence grow! It has always been an ambition to start a Youth Theatre, in the hope of providing the kind of enhancing experience she had growing up: The opportunity to make new friends who have the same love of performing, growing together and creating theatre. She wants to support and nurture potential, whilst developing a whole host of valuable life skills along the way – confidence, organization, team work, public speaking and empathy.
