Joanna Lucas
Joanna is a professional actress who has worked in theatre, television and film in the UK and the Netherlands. When not on stage herself, she loves to share her knowledge and training with young people, working in schools and with individuals as a workshop leader and coach, teaching theatre skills, Shakespeare and storytelling. She’s constantly inspired by the young people she works with, encouraging them to find their own voice, and delights in watching their confidence grow! It has always been an ambition to start a Youth Theatre, in the hope of providing the kind of enhancing experience she had growing up: The opportunity to make new friends who have the same love of performing, growing together and creating theatre. She wants to support and nurture potential, whilst developing a whole host of valuable life skills along the way – confidence, organization, team work, public speaking and empathy.

Elyse is currently the Artistic Director of Orange Theatre Company (OTC) and the HR Manager/business development leader at INCasting. She has been teaching children for over ten years working in International schools, teaching courses, and so much more. Seven years ago Elyse moved from New York City to the Netherlands. While in NYC, Elyse graduated from the American Musical Dramatic Academy (AMDA) and went on to become a casting director, producer, stage manager, and actress. She has directed several productions including OTC’s productionsThe B Word in 2018 andThe Last Five Years.
