COURSE DESCRIPTION

This 12 week acting course, with sessions for ages 5-10 and 11-18 culminates in our first ever Summer production of A Midsummer Night's Dream! Casting will be decided during the first few sessions of the course - we aim to combine Shakespeare with musical elements in this show.

 

Participants will:

• Experience being part of a full production, performed in a real theatre. 

• Be assigned individual roles and helped to develop them.

• Learn acting techniques and put them into practice during rehearsals.

• Develop their self-confidence and public speaking skills

• Make new, like-minded friends

A Midsummer Night's Dream will be performed at Het Amsterdam Theaterhuis on Saturday 10th July.

These weekly classes/rehearsals begin 6th March and are every Saturday. It is vital that we know how many participants would like to be involved in this show, so the sign-up deadline to join the course and be a part of the show is 15th March.
